What actually gets installed
A slim aluminum track mounts under the drip edge or along the fascia and holds the diodes facing out. From the street in daylight it reads as trim. After dark it's a clean, even line along every roof edge, with no cords, clips, or sagging runs.
Color-matched aluminum channel, fastened into the fascia and sealed. No clips on the shingles and nothing hanging off the gutter.
Addressable RGBW LEDs, so you get true warm white for everyday use, not the blue-ish white that gives cheap systems away.
Pick a color, dim it, or set a schedule that turns the house on at dusk and off at midnight. Holidays can be programmed a year out.
Two ways to light a property
Most homes look best with both: the roofline draws the shape of the house, and the landscape fills in everything underneath it. We quote them together or one at a time.
Track along the eaves, peaks, and gables. One system that covers holidays, game nights, parties, and plain warm-white curb appeal.
Low-voltage uplights, path lights, and wash lights that give the yard depth after dark and make the front door easy to find.
Honest math
Seasonal installers are a fine way to get through one December. Over a decade, you've paid for a permanent system several times over and still have nothing on the house in June.
| Permanent NightLight system | Hiring an installer each season | |
|---|---|---|
| Cost | One-time install | $600–$1,500 every season, forever |
| Nights you can use it | 365 | About 45 |
| Ladders on your house | Once, by us | Twice a year, every year |
| Look in daylight | Hidden track, no cords | Clips, strands, and extension cords |
| Changing colors | In the app, in a second | Buy different strands |
| Lifespan | 50,000 hours of LED life | Strands replaced every few seasons |
Five stars on Google
We had a great experience! The guys did an awesome job installing permanent lights on our pool enclosure, and everything turned out exactly how we hoped. They were easy to work with, communicated well throughout the process, and were always quick to respond. Even after the installation, we had a few questions and they got back to us right away. We highly recommend them for any of your lighting needs!
Highly recommend Jaden, their team and the product they install. Our installation was done a few weeks before Christmas and we had a lot of fun with the various Christmas themes, including the house dancing to the music.
What was really amazing was how much it improved the look of the house once Christmas was over and life went back to normal. I've spent a little bit of time playing around in the app but found this lighting scene that is my everyday lighting. So happy with that every aspect of this purchase and can highly recommend.
Jaden and company did an awesome job on our landscaping lighting. I wanted to use Ring transformers to work with my security cameras and he had no problems. They did my setup over a year ago and the only problems I have had is landscapers breaking 2 of them. Jaden is always timely in our repairs. You can not find better service and support
Cannot say enough how good our experience with Jaden and nightlight was. Jaden was responsive and came out on time for our initial quote. He worked with our contractor that was doing a back patio and driveway to make sure everything was done right. The crew showed up on time and worked hard to get the job done right. We cannot be more happy with the finished product. Would highly recommend NightLight
Straight answers
Only if you want it to. Most people run a soft warm white most nights, which reads as architectural lighting rather than holiday lighting, and save colors for holidays, birthdays, and game days. It's a dimmer and a color picker, not a permanent string of red and green.
Barely, and that's the point. The channel is slim aluminum, mounted under the drip edge or tight to the fascia, and color-matched to your trim. From the street it reads as part of the roof line. We'll show you a close-up photo at the design visit so you know exactly what it looks like at ten feet.
No. The track fastens to the fascia board, not through the shingles, and every penetration is sealed. If you have gutter guards or a roof under warranty, tell us at the visit and we'll adjust the mounting so nothing is voided.
Roofline systems are priced by the linear foot of track, so the number depends on how much of the house you light and how much of it is two stories. Landscape lighting is priced by fixture. Most people are surprised it lands near what a few seasons of hired holiday lighting costs. You'll get a written number at the visit, before we leave.
Yes. Colors, brightness, zones, presets, and schedules all live in the app, and you can set holidays for the whole year in one sitting. We set up your first scenes with you on install day so you're not learning it alone.
The fixtures are sealed and UV-stable, the channel is aluminum, and the wiring is rated for outdoor and coastal use. Daily sun and afternoon storms are what kill consumer-grade strip lights, so the whole system is specified for that rather than adapted to it.
Our systems come with a 10-year warranty.
Yes. Plenty of people start with uplighting on the palms and a path to the front door, and add the roofline later. The transformer and wiring we install are sized to leave room for that.
